Mahmoud's castle
This week for Maths Week the children were tasked with building a 3D house. Mahmoud made this amazing castle from paper, cardboard and plastic. Well done Mahmoud. It's a castle I think we would all love to live in. :)

I will post links to a few websites over the coming weeks that might be helpful to some of the children. If a child is having difficulty with any particular area in Maths these sites are a great way for them to revise themselves at home. One of my favourites is Khan Academy. It has hundreds of video tutorials that I often use in class myself. If they are finding some of their maths homework tricky they can choose to watch a video that might help them to remember the strategy shown in class. They can also go back and look at videos from previous years to help them. I am hoping to set up a class link in the coming weeks so they can access videos on some of the work we will be doing in class but they can also just follow the link to watch the videos for free.
