Two more books for you to have a look at while we are away. Again no pressure to look at them but some of you may find them interesting. Today it's Ancient Greece and the History of Flight.

Ancient Egypt

This was something I had planned to cover with you all in the next few weeks. Egypt is one of those countries I have been fortunate enough to travel to. It really is an amazing place with a history stretching back not just centuries but millenniums. This is a resource I have put together detailing only some of it's amazing history. I would love to add some more chapters to it so here's the challenge. Find an aspect of the book you liked and find out more about it. Or go for something that isn't in the book and do the same. I haven't covered the lives of the people in Egypt, their clothing and food, their beliefs and culture. Try to put something together to tell me about these aspects. Your project can take any form. Over the years I have seen children create physical models of the Pyramids and temples, cook an Egyptian meal and even dress like an Egyptian. You can also make a PowerPoint/Keynote Presentation, make a poster or a book or use Book Creator like I did.

World War I

The children covered this earlier in the year with our Teaching Student Michelle but this is a resource I created last year for the class. It might be a way of revisiting some of what you have learned in a different way. The children might recognise some of it as I also used it with them earlier in the year. Please feel free to go further with your learning if there is a particular part of the story that interested you. I would love to see what you have learned in the form of a project of some kind.
